Sydney Bartenders was formed after witnessing a lack of professional staffing in the catering and events industry. We set out to build a company that focused on connecting the best hospitality staff with Sydney’s event needs. We hand select our staff who have passion, expertise and friendly personality.

Process
While each client and project is unique, the process remains the same. Working with each of our clients requires a process which is thorough in strategic planning, creative thinking, design excellence, market research and understanding of each clients expectation.

Our process is made up of these phases:

Phase 1: Research
We start each project by having multiple in-depth discussions with clients in regards to their future strategic planning in all areas of their operation including product development, marketing, and budget forecast. We use this knowledge to guide further research to conduct industry analysis, defining trends, market expectation to understand out client on a deeper level.

Phase 2: Strategy
In this phase, we synthesize the learnings from the research phase and begin to brainstorm, ideate, develop a range of strategies to bring to the table with on-going communication with clients.

Phase 3: Design
This is where the first two phases come together visually. We work to develop the core initial concepts which have the look, feel to match brand identity and clients expectations. In this phase, we also work to shape, refine and fine tune the final design.

Phase 4: Applications
We extend the brand into all brand touchpoints including but not limited to: Private product launch, event/festival/trade conference collaboration, web campaign, print and media.

Phase 5: Production
Our clients like to know we are able to assist in the production of their projects. We have a strong network of vendors/suppliers who we know and trust to execute our design & idea. Through quality control, vendor collaboration and project management skills, we are able to oversee a wide range of production related needs.

We deploy a launch strategy and work to build synergy around the brand.

Tom Gibson
As Founder of Sydney Bartenders & Master Mixologist Tom’s passion for cocktails has seen him scour the globe, sourcing recipes all over Europe, The Americas, Africa, Asia and India. For the last 7 years he has worked in some of the most exclusive bars and members clubs in Sydney and London. His highlights include: designing and delivering the drinks for Madonna’s 50th Birthday celebrations, servicing a host of events for Kate Moss and numerous other famous and exclusive clients. Sydney Festival 2010
Sydney Festival wanted to include a cocktail bar within the Festival Garden which would be open to the public. Its sponsors Belvedere Vodka and Channel GO! wanted their brand to be given the best exposure possible.

The cocktails needed to include Belvedere Vodka as its base, with the color of Channel GO!. The project was on a limited budget there for it was important the cocktail bar sold cocktails at a competitive yet attractive price, and added the the patrons overall experience at the Festival Garden.

The result was 4,500 cocktails sold over four weeks during the festival. Over 45,000 people directly or indirectly experienced the brands of Channel GO! and Belvedere Vodka at the Sydney Festival 2010 Festival Garden.
